Welcome to Body Control Pilates with Raj

My classes can be enjoyed by everyone no matter ” What age”. Classes have maximum 10 participants, so you can be sure that you will always receive a high level of attention to help you get most from your Pilates sessions. This means you get feedback thorough. Sessions are more challenging to keep progressing.

My mission is to make you more aware of your body, increase your proprioception, more relaxed and generally feel calmer. Also have a sensation of a lengthening posture.

I gained my Pilates teaching certification from Body Control Pilates. It is widely regarded as the bench mark for Pilates training and meets the UK national standard for Pilates level 3. I am also a Back4good practitioner which means I can help out people suffering with bad backs.  I am fully insured through membership of the BCP Association and Register of Exercise Professionals.

I also teach Reformer private session from my garden studio in maidenhead.

"I started Pilates sessions with Raj knowing very little about it. I went to the gym but found that Pilates is a totally different kind of exercise. At first I struggled with the breathing technique, but Raj is a very calm and patient teacher and kept the sessions at the right pace. As we progressed, the movements became physically more challenging but it was always relaxing. It is a good form of exercise for both mind and body. We are all so busy and don't take time to switch off our minds. I can thoroughly recommend Pilates with Raj as both an enjoyable and relaxing way of exercise! "
