Welcome to Pilates with Raj
I’m Raj, and I warmly welcome you to my small Pilates classes held in my Maidenhead garden studio and slightly larger group classes are available in Bourne End and Henley. I also offer private sessions in Maidenhead combined with Reformer and cadillac.
Wherever you decide to join me, you’ll be welcomed with warmth and cared for with attention. You don’t need to be flexible or fit to start Pilates – you just need to be yourself and ready to reconnect with your body. Give yourself the space to feel better, move better, and breathe more freely.
My classes are open to everyone. They are designed to help you tune into your body and enhance your mind-body connection. With regular weekly sessions, you can expect improvements in mobility, posture, balance, and core strength. Each session includes functional movement to support your everyday life and help you provide you some tools to live better lifestyle.

What Makes My Teaching Unique?
I help you connect with your body through mindful breathing, tailored cues, and gentle, intelligent movement done with control. My approach helps you become more aware of how your body feels and functions, so you can move with more freedom and ease.
While some movements are repeated to help you deepen your awareness and connection, each session introduces new elements to stimulate your mind and support progress. My mission is to help you truly feel connected to your body.
In every class, the quality of movement is more important than the quantity of repetitions. I guide you to stay present and move with intention.

"I started Pilates sessions with Raj knowing very little about it. I went to the gym but found that Pilates is a totally different kind of exercise. At first I struggled with the breathing technique, but Raj is a very calm and patient teacher and kept the sessions at the right pace. As we progressed, the movements became physically more challenging but it was always relaxing. It is a good form of exercise for both mind and body. We are all so busy and don't take time to switch off our minds. I can thoroughly recommend Pilates with Raj as both an enjoyable and relaxing way of exercise! "
